Sumner Wild Goose FestivalWe would like to warmly welcome you to the Sumner Wild Goose Festival this year. The town will be filled with fun and exciting events worth “Quacking” about!! This year the Goose Festival is being held on the last weekend in October, which is the opening day of Goose Season. This event draws families from all of the United States as well as local residents. We are expecting a large crowd this year and hope you will be able to share it its success. Upon entering downtown Sumner Vendors will follow signs to the Information Booth, where you will be given your booth number and location. Vendors with products come Saturday, you may decide to be there Friday evening to set up. There is no security offered if you choose to setup on Friday. And we do request a 24 hour notice if you plan on setting up Friday evening to facilitate an event coordinator meeting with you and getting you to your designated location. You can leave when you want on Saturday; it is recommended that the food vendors stay through the supper hour Saturday. BOOTH SETUP IS 7AM-9AM SATURDAY Vendors must pay for all space utilized, whether for selling or storage. Storage must be covered under tables or out of sight. Selling from trailers or vehicles can be done in West Block. Electricity is very limited. Vendors must supply their own extension cords, tables and chairs. Extension cords should be 100' in length and 12 gauge. 110/30 amp, no 220 available. As a suggestion, since Fall weather is unpredictable, a tented cover is recommended but not required. There is no refunds for inclement weather. Convenient parking for the vendors will be north of Sportsman Inn Tavern in the lot with the Green Shed. We do asked that all vendors move their vehicles by 9am to help patrons of the festival enjoy shopping and watching the parade. If you need to have a vehicle for your booth, you should note this on your form.
